Pro Baseball Player is Amateur Magician Toronto Blue Jays catcher Tyler Heineman, who showed off his magic skills recently for the Canadian sports channel SPORTSNET. WATCH Heineman in action!

Steve Martin, Card Tricks, and Murder The fifth season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building is now streaming, and sees Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez once again trying to solve a murder that has taken place in their Manhattan apartment building. New Magic Theater in Las Vegas A new magic venue called The Magicians Room opened this October at the LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas. LEARN more.

Nikola Arkane Wins Northern Ireland’s Largest Arts Grant Nikola Arkane has received a Major Individual Artist award, which gives her £15,000 to continue her study of manipulation with Hyunjoon Kim in South Korea. READ more.

IN PRACTICE

This month Richard recommends a couple of videos for you to check out, the first being an interview conducted by Lus de Matos and Max Maven from FISM 2022. It’s a touching interview where Max Maven shares openly about his impending death from glioblastoma and how this diagnosis changed his view on life. The second video is of close-up magician Luis Olmedo who gave Richard this month’s contribution A Production of Four Coins. You can watch Luis present his FISM winning act in a clip from Fool Us.
