What are the new subscription rates for Genii?
Genii’s cover price will change to $12.99 starting with the June 2025 issue.
As of May 20, 2025, these are the new rates for Genii
Digital Subscription: The new rate will be $69/year
Print+Digital Subscription: New rates will be:
- USA (Second Class Mail service): $115/year
- CANADA (Canada Post): $129/year
- INTERNATIONAL (International Priority): $159/year
ALL PRICES ARE IN US DOLLARS.
What if I am a current subscriber? How does this change effect me?
Current subscribers will continue to enjoy their Genii subscriptions as usual. As subscriptions come up for renewal after May 20, 2025, new rates will apply. For subscribers using auto renew: Your subscription will be subject to the new rates as of May 20, 2025. You can opt out of auto renew through your dashboard. You can also change or cancel your subscription at any time, but at least 24-hours before your renewal date to avoid renewal charges. I’m Already A Subscriber: How Do I Activate My Account?
You will need the email address Genii has on file for your subscription and your Activation Key. First, locate your Activation Key. You need the polybag or envelope in which your magazine is shipped. Your Activation Key is the number printed just above your name. If you have misplaced your number or thrown away your polybag/envelope, contact the Genii office for your activation key at 301-652-5800 or genii@geniimagazine.com
Your Activation Key is the number directly above your name and address. This is your temporary password.
Go to the Genii Subscriber Sign In page: https://staging.geniimagazine.com/account/
Enter your email address. This must be the same email address on file with your subscription. (If you can’t remember, or need to update this, contact Genii).
Enter your Activation Number as your password. You will be logged in. We recommend resetting your password immediately.
Why Should I Subscribe to Genii?

How Can Subscribers Visit The Magic Castle?
Each Genii subscriber is entitled to one visit per year to The Magic Castle for themselves and up to three guests. Some restrictions apply. PLEASE NOTE: Visits to The Magic Castle are subject to availability. Subscribers must contact The Magic Castle in advance to arrange reservations. Please also note that Friday and Saturday night reservations are not available. Contact The Magic Castle reservations desk at (323) 851-3313 for more information.
How do I Choose Between Paper and Digital?
The simple answer is that you don’t have to if you don’t want to. All paper subscriptions also have access to the Digital Genii experience. If you like paper, then get the Print+Digital subscription. If you don’t need a paper issue, get the Digital only subscription at a much lower rate. All subscribers have access to the entire 88-year Genii Digital Archive, AND the entire 25-year run of MAGIC Magazine.
Is Genii Appropriate for All Ages?
Absolutely. You won’t see anything in Genii you wouldn’t see in a PG-rated movie.
How Do I Change My Mailing Address?
Log in to your account and go to “Your Account Info and Subscriptions.” On the right side, you can manage and edit your address.
Does Genii Offer Refunds?
No. Like all magic, once the secret is sold you can’t return it.
